Friday numerous mothers and their sons will be in attendance at the Warsaw Parks and Recreation Mommy Son Adventure. This year’s theme is “farm adventure”.

The event, which is completely booked, will offer mothers and sons the opportunity to enjoy games, activities and snacks all related to farming, animals, equipment and growing things.

Approximately 100 people are expected to attend the event with boys aged 3 to 10 years old attending with their mothers, aunts or grandmothers.

Sponsorship support has kept the event low-cost for participants and provides unique elements and activities. The event will take place at the Pete Thorn Center Gymnasium located at 800 N. Park Ave., Warsaw. Cost of the event was $15 per couple with a $5 charge per additional child. Parking will be free.

Those who missed out on registering are encouraged to keep an eye out for the event next year and register early.
