Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
7:12 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2801 W. Old Road 30, Warsaw. Brittany L. Graziani, 29, North Park Avenue, Warsaw, and Katrina L. Hite, 41, Janet Drive, Akron. Graziani pulled into the path of the Hite vehicle, which had the right of way. Damage up to $2,500.
5:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, East CR 400S and South CR 400E, Warsaw. Driver: Brittny N. Cornett, 24, South CR 400E, Warsaw. Cornett’s vehicle hit a bump in the road while applying the brakes. The brakes failed and the vehicle went through the intersection, hitting a guard rail. Damage up to $10,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
10:16 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 300 E. Chicago Street, Syracuse. Police were called to 330 E. Chicago Street regarding a utility pole down in a parking lot. No one saw what happened. It appears a semitrailer had struck the pole and broke it, leaving the scene. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
3:22 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, South Detroit, north of East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Cicely L. Nelson, 22, South Columbia Street, Warsaw, and Derek A. Brock, 26, South Arnold Street, Roann. Nelson’s vehicle struck the back of the Brock vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
4:21 p.m. Thursday, April 23, Publishers Drive, west of Kings Highway, Winona Lake. Drivers: Zoel M. Zook, 19, Paradise Road, Orville, Ohio, and Johnathan D. Swanson, 20, North Lincoln Park, Warsaw. Zook, who pulled along side the road, did not see the Swanson vehicle before driving back out onto the road. Damage up to $5,000.
