Branigan Lee Bahney
Branigan Lee Bahney, 19, Akron, formerly of Warsaw, passed away on the afternoon of Saturday, May 2, 2015, in an automobile accident.
He was born on Oct. 14, 1995 in Peru, Ind., to Fernando Paredes and A’shel (Bahney) Santana.
Branigan graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School, where he played football and participated in the drama club, in 2014. Branigan was a member of the Indiana Army National Guard, Unit 113 Engineer. He attended the Mentone United Methodist Church, where he was a youth leader and played the bass guitar.
Surviving Branigan are his mother and step-father, Ismael Santana, Warsaw; twin sister: Victoria (Carlos) Rosas, Warsaw; sister: Marisha Bahney, Warsaw; brother: Isaiah Bahney, Warsaw; maternal grandmother: Shalley Bahney, and her companion David Kuhn, Mentone; two uncles: Justin (Mandy) Gearhart, Akron, and Josh (Nikki) Bahney, Macy; three aunts: Lia (Jose) Rosas, Akron, Jessica Bahney, Akron, and BethhAnn, Wabash; a nephew: Ayven Rosas, Warsaw; and several cousins and his dog, Darius.
He is preceded by his grandfather: Gary Bahney; and his great-grandparents: Max and Mary Jane Gearhart and Bob and Bonnie Bahney.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Thursday, May 7 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Rochester. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 8 at Mentone United Methodist Church, Rev. Amber Karkosky-Litten presiding. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
