Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
6:43 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, North Parker Street and East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jacob M. Osborn, 22, Elizabeth Drive, Stevensville, Mich. and Kevin W. Escapule, 33, East Barrington Place, Warsaw. Osburn began to switch travel lanes, in front of Escapule’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
5:28 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, Frontage Road, Warsaw. Drivers. Laira M. Myers, 16, East CR 300S, Akron, and Ashley N. Baker, 29, East Joshua Drive, Warsaw. Myers failed to stop at the east/west access road, colliding with the Baker vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
12:03 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Edwina G. Sroufe, 71, South Blaine Street, North Webster, and Jerry A. Eisaman, 74, EMS T48B Lane, Syracuse. Sroufe was parked at the gas pumps and started backing up, not seeing the Eisaman vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
10:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, South Hand Avenue, south of West Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Todd E. Grube, 35, East Beech Ave., Columbia City. The box truck Grube was driving became stuck under the viaduct. The viaduct had scratches to the iron work but did not appear damaged. RailAmerica, Jacksonville, Fla., was notified. Damage up to $10,000.
