Carl C. Chupp, 90, Milford, passed away at 2:05 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015, in Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw.

He was born on July 10, 1924, in Oceana County, Mich., the son of Edward and Bernice (Artlip) Chupp. On Aug. 28, 1943, he married Margie E. Nichols.

Carl proudly served as a US Air Force cadet and was discharged in 1943. He has been a Milford resident since 1948, moving from Arkansas and is a member of the Clunette United Methodist Church. He worked for the Purina Mills and retired after 22 years. He also farmed for the Estep Family.

He is survived by daughter: Bernice (Don) Smith, Warsaw; two grandchildren: Richard (Carrie) Miller, Noblesville, and Tina (Matt) Donovan, Akron.

Carl was preceded in death by his wife: Marrgie, five brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, May 12 in Mishler Funeral Home, 461 W. CR900 N, Milford. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will take place Leesburg Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Clunette United Methodist Church.
