One of the most visible means of seeing the creativity of Wawasee High School students is the annual art show. This year’s show will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 22, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 23.

Student artwork will be displayed in the surge area near the auditorium of the high school and senior artwork will be displayed in the Learning Resources Center.

It is not uncommon for more than 1,000 pieces of artwork to be on display. Mediums include oil and watercolor paintings, colored, ebony and charcoal drawings, photography, computer graphics, ceramics and more.

Several WHS art students have gone on to pursue art at the collegiate level.
