Third Graders from Pierceton Elementary and South Whitley Elementary Schools met on Friday, May 15th, for their annual Pen Pal Picnic at the Pierceton Park.

These students have been writing to each other as pen pals all year and this was their first chance to meet. They ate lunch together, played together, and got to know one another. They are looking forward to meeting again in middle school as they travel together towards their high school graduation in 2024.
