Jesse Bohannon Announces Candidacy
Jesse Bohannon of Bremen has announced he is a candidate for the Republican nomination in district 17 in the Indiana House of Representatives. Bohannon is a lifelong conservative who boldly defends life, individual liberty and the free market.
“Rep. Tim Harman has served our district well, and I am sad to see him retire from the House,” said Bohannon. “As a fellow conservative, I want to see his legacy of bold and responsive leadership continued.”
Bohannon is looking forward to representing his neighbors in Fulton and Marshall counties, “For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion to defend our constitution and conservative principles. When elected, I will work to build a true conservative majority in the statehouse. Now, more than ever, we need to make tough choices and set right priorities to secure the blessings of liberty for the next generation.”
Bohannon is a graduate of Bremen High School and Bethel College (BA — liberal arts) and has worked nurturing the lives of youth. Beginning in 2009, Jesse served five years at The Crossing, alternative school in full-time ministry working with struggling teens and young adults across northern Indiana, including students from Bremen, Argos, Bourbon and Plymouth.
While at The Crossing, Bohannon served as director of adult education and student leadership development in conjunction with piloting a residential program for abandoned young adults.
Bohannon, currently a manager with Marshall County-based Bourbon Street Pizza, has begun meeting with and listening to citizens throughout the district ahead of the 2016 GOP primary. Jesse pledges to always be available to his constituents — who he knows will be his best advisors — all are welcome to contact him at (574) 220-8809 or [email protected].
