Bourbon
Officers with the Bourbon Police Department investigated the following incidents:
May 24
- 3:20 p.m. West Liberty Street, Bourbon. Police received a report of a female driving a vehicle at a high rate of speed almost hitting the caller and their dogs. Audrey R. Helmuth, 30, Bourbon, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and taken to the Marshall County Jail. Her bond was set at $1,500.
May 22
- 11:39 p.m. Bourbon Street and Park Avenue, Bourbon. Officer Matt Geiger stopped a vehicle for being left of center and no headlights. Robert L. Warner Jr., was found to have marijuana in his possession. He was booked for possession of marijuana in the Marshall County Jail. His bond was $500 cash.
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incident:
- 6:33 p.m. Monday, May 25, 1500 block West CR 300S, Warsaw. Douglas L. Ault reported the theft of a wicker chair and plant stand.
- 12:21 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2100 block Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Kristine A. Rastrelli reported the theft of a boat.
- 12:04 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2100 block East Pierceton Road, Warsaw. Cherylyn A. Trier reported an attempted fraud.
- 9:29 a.m. Sunday, May 24, 100 block EMS B22 Lane, Pierceton. Police were called to this location for a possible altercation.
- 2:57 p.m. Saturday, May23, 4800 block North CR 175E, Leesburg. James A. Redman contacted police regarding a police report.
- Saturday, May 23, 5500 block East CR 575S, Pierceton. Nicholas A. Smith reported die set, tractor weights, trolling motors, grinder, chain saw, fishing poles and tackle, camper generator, farm and garden tractor, space heater, tool box and tools, sawzall, battery chargers taken from a shed. Value: Over $2,000.
- 5:40 p.m. Friday, May 22, 100 block EMS D17 Lane, Syracuse. Police were called to the location for a complaint.
- 3:07 p.m. Friday, May 22, 7200 block North Kalorama Road, Leesburg. Matthew P. Fry reported a set of keys stolen.
- 1:07 p.m. Friday, May 22, 10200 block south CR 200W, Silver Lake. Police were called to a location for a family altercation.
- 1:07 p.m. Friday May 22, 3700 block West Old Road 30, Warsaw. Police were called for a dispute over lawn mowing.
- 10:39 a.m. Friday, May 22, 200 block West Main Street, Warsaw. Deidra M. Allen reported harassing text and Facebook messages.
- 8:21 a.m. Friday, May 22, 11500 block North Sleeping Beauty Lane, Cromwell. Police were called for a juvenile complaint.
- 6:52 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 4900 block West US 30/North CR 500W, Warsaw. Keith Roy Debolt reported a two-vehicle crash with the driver at fault leaving the scene.
- 7:51 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2300 block South SR 25, Warsaw. Norman O. McKinney reported a stolen golf cart.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 3:24 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 600 block South Main Street, North Webster. Officials at Aztecaz reported an individual keeps calling the restaurant and harassing the employees.
- 12:33 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 700 block South Main Street, North Webster. Officials at Freedom Express reported a drive off of $77.57 in gasoline. The individual later returned and paid for the gasoline.
- 10:23 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 300 block East Effie Mae Street, North Webster. Linda J. McGonagle reported credit card fraud.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 5:01 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 200 block East Greenhaus Drive, Syracuse. Police were called regarding a fight and found Glen L. Knisley, Jr., had been battered. Lance C. Earley was arrested.
- 7:08 a.m. Monday, May 18, 700 block North Huntington Street, Syracuse. A member of the Syracuse Garden Club reported two steel lower hanger brackets for planters and the planters with flowers were missing from a lamp post
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 10:37 p.m. Monday, May 25, 2500 block Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Cheryl Haskins reported damage to her vehicle.
- 2:36 p.m. Monday, May 25, 2200 block East Jefferson Street, Warsaw. Skates were found.
- 12:30 a.m. Monday, May 25, 1900 block East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Officers assisted in locating a missing vehicle owned by Randall D. Berg, Trenton, Ga., for Dade County Sheriff’s Department, Georgia.
- 11:16 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 1400 block East Smith Street, Warsaw. Officials with the Kosciusko County Fair reported a lock box was broken at a fairgrounds building.
- 7:27 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 200 block West Baker Street, Warsaw. Police were called to investigate a domestic battery and intimidation.
- 7:02 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 900 block East Main Street/North Scott Street, Warsaw. A bicycle was found.
- 6:52 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 100 block Orchard Drive, Warsaw. Officials were called to the area for an individual exposing himself at a pool.
- 5:56 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 1200 block Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Officials at Meijer reported the theft of food items and household items valued at $159.61. Lara Jean Poppenfoose, Warsaw, was arrested.
- 12:12 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 500 block East Market Street, Warsaw. Veta J. Ruggles reported having medication stolen from her residence.
- 12:28 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 3400 block Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Kevin D. Frantz reported an individual leaving the scene of a personal injury traffic accident.
- 3:22 a.m. Sunday, May 24, 500 block West Jefferson Street, Warsaw. Barbara L. Sanchez reported being battered in front of her apartment.
- 8:04 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 300 block North Lake Street, Warsaw. Timothy Hollowell reported finding a sailboard and paddle in his yard.
- 4:46 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 600 block East Main Street, Warsaw. Deborah K. Ruch reported being bitten by a dog.
- 8:20 p.m. Friday, May 22, 300 block North Bronson Street, Warsaw. Anita Oviedo Hernandez reported her mailbox was vandalized.
- 10:41 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 300 block North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Noami Castillo reported her debit card was stolen and used at a business.

- 12:18 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 1300 block Beta Drive, Winona Lake. Philip A. Reed reported a lap top stolen. Value: $1,000.
- 1:55 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 1500 block Grace Avenue, Winona Lake. A female reported being stalked.
