Kosciusko Community Hospital Names Kirk Ray As CEO

The Kosciusko Community Hospital Board of Trustees has selected Kirk Ray as it new chief executive officer, effective June 8.
Ray most recently served as division vice president of operations for CHSPSC, LLC, where he provided operations guidance and led strategic initiatives for affiliated hospitals in Mississippi. He brings more than two decades of hospital administration experience, as well as a deep understanding of the tremendous changes occurring across the healthcare landscape.
“I am thrilled to return to northeastern Indiana and am excited to work with the medical staff and employees at Kosciusko Community Hospital to serve the community’s healthcare needs,” said Ray. “KCH has a long tradition of providing quality care to the community and I look forward to building on that already solid foundation.”
Having worked previously with Lutheran Health Network as CEO of St. Joseph Hospital, Ray is familiar with KCH and the community. His other executive positions have included CEO for ValleyCare Health System of Ohio and Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio and DeKalb Memorial Hospital in Auburn, Indiana.
“Kirk’s outstanding leadership and operations experience will be a great asset to our organization and the community,” said KCH Board of Trustees Chair Ron Robinson. “We’re pleased to welcome him to the community and look forward to working with him.”
A Fort Wayne native, Ray received his undergraduate degree in exercise physiology from Ball State University and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. He has been active in numerous professional and community organizations throughout his career.
