Ducks In England Get Own Walking Path On Busy Streets
The Canal and River Trust, which works to preserve more than 2,000 miles of waterways throughout England and Wales, has created walking lanes exclusively for ducks in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
The walkways have heavy foot traffic and the initiative is part of a campaign to raise awareness of sharing space and watching where people, and now animals, are going.
The duck lanes are along the shoulder of the path, marked by white lines and stamped with the hashtag #sharethespace.
