Leo H. Richey
Leo H. Richey, 81, Leesburg, passed away at 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2015, at his Leesburg home.
He was born Oct. 2, 1933, in Cannelton, to Harry and Edna (Richardson) Richey. He serviced with the United States Army during WWII and married Lois M. Mack on Sept. 15, 1955, in Angola. He lived in Leesburg most of his life.
He was a manager for the Pepsi-Cola Warsaw plant for 30 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of the VFW Men’s Auxiliary; American Legion Post # 253, North Webster; Warsaw Bowling Association; and the VFW Shuffle Board Team.
He is survived by two sons: Larry (Sue) Richey, Leesburg; Matt Richey, Warsaw; two daughters: Faith (Matt) Kirkendall, Warsaw; Juanita (Gale) Danner, Warsaw; nine grandchildren: Eric; Chantelle; Amber; Roger; Nellie; Samantha; Shanna; Alexis; Emma; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister: Dorothy Thomas, Fort Wayne.
Leo was preceded in death by his wife: Lois M. Richey on May 11, 2015; two brothers: George Richey; and Bob Richey; and two sisters: Mary Marchand; and Dualee Jarboe.
A memorial service at Titus Funeral Home will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 8, with Pastor Bob Jarboe officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Warsaw’s American Legion post #49 and VFW Post #1126.
