Lois I. Hunter
Lois I. Hunter, Mansfield, Ohio, formerly of Mentone, died at 9:24 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Wedgewood Assisted Living Facility, Mansfield, Ohio.
She was born Nov. 2, 1929, in Kosciusko County to Cloice and Trella (Flenar) Baum. On Feb. 27, 1949, she married Charles L. Hunter. He survives.
Lois was a graduate of Mentone High School, a bookkeeper, and a homemaker. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church, Mentone. She enjoyed reading the Bible and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes.
She is survived by her husband: Charles “Chuck” Hunter; daughter: Rebecca (Gary) Thomas, Ontario, Ohio; son: Mark (Deb) Hunter, Saginaw; grandchildren: Kristine Thomas, Marysville, Ohio; Kendra (Jeremy) Ingle, Marysville, Ohio; Kasey (Jim) Rader, Mansfield, Ohio; Shane (Abby) Hunter, Marlette, Mich.; and Heather Hunter, Saginaw, Mich.; great-grandchildren: Peyton Ingle; Emily Ingle; Garrett Ingle; Calah Rader; Grace Rader; Marlea Rader; Joyanna Rader; Elijah Rader; Gabby Hunter; Zoey Hunter; Eliot Hunter; and Finlee Hunter; sister: Frances (Firman) Sensibaugh, Franklin, Va.; brothers: Doyle (Melia) Baum, Granger; Royal (Fran) Baum, Mentone; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Edmund Baum; great-grandaughter: Faith Calah Rader.
Services will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with James Rader speaking. Visitation will take place one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mentone Cemetery, Mentone.
