‘Two Guys’ Share Canning Tips
The library is excited to host North Webster residents, Stuart Smith and Mike Shock, for a beginner’s course on home canning from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13. The food preservation pros first brought their “Two Guys Canning” program to the North Webster Public Library in 2014, and now they are hitting the road to share their techniques, favorite equipment and other tips with Nappanee neighbors interested in preserving their own garden goodies. No registration is necessary. For more information call the library at (574) 773-7919, or go to www.nappaneelibrary.org.

Kid’s Crafts
Decorate your own canvas barbecue apron at the library from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, June 13. Kids will have the chance to drop in for this special activity in the children’s department. Kid’s craft day at the library is held on the second Saturday of each month in conjunction with Nappanee’s city-wide second Saturday events. Contact the library with questions or for more information.
