Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

12:29 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 3529 West CR 100S, Warsaw. Driver: Sheila Gilbert, 62, Ranch Road, Warsaw hit a parked car. Damage up to $2,500.

10:04 p.m. Monday, June 1, East US 30, west of South CR 450E, Warsaw. Driver: Michael Fink, 58, Lakeridge Drive, Fort Wayne. Hit deer, damage up to $10,000.

8:39 p.m. Monday, June 1, West US 30, west of North CR 650W, Atwood. Drivers: Colton Huff, 20, North Lakeview Drive, Warsaw, and Daniel Kolb, 30, East Marion Street, Nappanee. The vehicle Huff was driving struck Kolb’s vehicle when attempting to switch lanes. Damage up to $5,000.

2:57 p.m. Monday, June 1, South SR 13, north of East CR 200S, Pierceton. Drivers: Scotty Jarrell, 29, East US 30, Pierceton, and Charlotte Fowler, 60, Long Street West, Mcewen, Tenn. Jarrell’s vehicle struck Fowler’s vehicle after his engine died and his steering locked up. Damage up to $25,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

6:02 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, North Front Street, south of East Medusa Street, Syracuse. Driver: Christina Golden, 52, Lindas Way, Bristol, Tenn. Golden attempted to jump the curb on her moped then struck a NIPSCO Pole. She suffered internal injuries and was transported to Fort Wayne Lutheran Hospital. Damage up to $2,500.

3:17 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, South Huntington Street, north of East Palm Drive, Syracuse. Driver: Audrey Fireline, 36, South Harkless Drive, Syracuse. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
