Michael W. “Doc” Doom, 63, Syracuse, passed away at 9:43 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at his home.

He was born on Nov. 29, 1951, in East St. Louis, Ill., to William O. & Helen J. (Kimes) Doom.

He graduated from Triad High School in Illinois and moved to Syracuse in 1998 from Collinsville, Ill. He was married on July 7, 2007, in Syracuse to Donna R. (Martin) Laudenslager who survives. He was self-employed and enjoyed working on arcade game machines.

He is survived by his wife; mother: Helen Doom, Caseyville, Ill.; stepson: Chris (Lisa) Laudenslager, Sexton, Mo.; step-grandchildren: Christopher and Hunter Laudenslager; sister: Peggy (William) Gorden, St. Louis, Mo.; brother: Patrick Doom, Collinsville, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County in Warsaw. No visitation or services are planned.  Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, is in charge of all arrangements.
