Joyce Ann (Cripe) Bauman
Joyce Ann (Cripe) Bauman, 80, of Flora formerly of Logansport went to be with the Lord at 7:21 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2015, surrounded by her loving family at her residence.
Born on April 29, 1935, in Wolcott, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Edna (Sheets) Cripe. On Jan. 30, 1954 she married Frederick L. Bauman, Jr. and he preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 1997.
Joyce and her husband formerly owned and operated Bauman’s Pest Service and she also had been employed at New Beginnings Daycare.
She was a member of Revolution Church in Logansport and she enjoyed winter with her sister in Arizona and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters: Ennetta “E.J” (Bill) Kistler, Logansport; Lisa (Curtis) Hite, Flora; and Blayne (Chris Cook) Cooper, Columbia City; sisters: Phyllis Cooley, Goodland; Gladys Gottfried, Mansfield, Ohio; and Fran Harper, Mesa, Ariz.; grandchildren: Suze Bauman; Josh Bell; Shaun Hamm; Brock Hite; Petie Hamm II; Daniel Hite; Khaley Hamm; Kameron Kooper; and Kolton Cooper; and great-grandchildren: Adi Mussleman; Trenton Brumett; Kyla-Reed Brummett; Raine Hamm; Milyn Hamm; Swayzee Hite; and Mikaela Sanchez-Hite.
She was also preceded in death by her son: Ronald and David Bauman; and brothers: James; Robert; and Jack Cripe.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel, with pastor Gary Jordan officiating. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, June 22, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
