Tornado Watch Issued For Kosciusko County
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Kosciusko and surrounding counties. The watch is in effect until 3 a.m. Tuesday, and includes Marshall, Elkhart, Fulton, Wabash and Whitley counties.
Severe thunderstorms are possible into the evening. Heavy, damaging winds could accompany the storms. There is also a risk of large hail, and isolated tornadoes could touch down.
Heavy rainfall is expected, adding to the high water issues already affecting the area. Flooding and flash flooding is possible.
Additionally, periodic thunderstorms are possible from Wednesday through Saturday of this week, especially from Wednesday evening to Thursday evening. Some flooding is possible should this precipitation occur.
