Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

12:44 a.m. Thursday, June 25, North CR 300W, north of West CR 500N, Leesburg. Driver: Storm M. Stapleton, 19, North CR 450W, Warsaw. Stapleton fell asleep, causing his vehicle to go off the road and hit a utility pole. He suffered minor bleeding to the lower leg/foot. Damage up to $50,000.

2:43 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, North CR 1025W, north of West CR 1250N, Nappanee. Drivers: Justin L. Brock, 36, West R 1100N, Nappanee, and Peter M. Bonner, 43, East CR 450N, Leesburg. Brock was attempting a U-turn and turned in front of the Bonner vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

12:14 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, North CR 175E, north of Prosperity Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Richard D. Reihl, 36, North CR 175E, Warsaw, and Noelle M. Daley, 37, North Timberline Circle, Warsaw. Damage up to $25,000. Reihl was backing from his driveway and did not see the Daley vehicle.

10:46 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, North Fox Farm Road, north of West Leigh Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Lisset Loyola, 18, West Sycamore Road, Warsaw. Loyola was passing another vehicle when the front tire of her vehicle struck the rear of the trailer being pulled by the other driver. No information on the driver of the other vehicle was available. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

11:52 a.m. Thursday, June 25, West Winona Avenue and South Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Janet A. Harrison, 65, West Winona Avenue, Warsaw, and Benjamin L. Hutton, 22, Harrison Lane, Xenia, Ohio. Harrison backed her vehicle to allow a semi more room to turn, hitting the Hutton vehicle behind her. Damage up to $5,000.

8:50 a.m. Thursday, June 25, Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Driver: Nathaniel B. Ill., 50, Plantana Boulevard, Fishers. Ill was attempting to turn his vehicle around in the parking lot when the trailer he was hauling clipped a light pole in the Arby’s parking lot. Damage up to $2,500.

6:51 a.m. Thursday, June 25, East Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Mark A. Pugliese, 54, P.O. Box, Winchester, VA. Pugliese was driving a U-haul truck and attempted to go under the car port, hitting the top of the carport. Damage up to $5,000.
