Kansas Fans Don’t Mind The Rain
Rain didn’t bother the loyal fans of Kansas Friday night at the Classic Rock Concert at Glover Pavilion in Central Park, Warsaw.
It was an evening of going back in time to the magical musical era called the ’70s. Prior to Kansas taking the stage, After Midnight entertained the concertgoers.
Loyal fans sat under blankets and umbrellas to hear the group who ruled the radio waves in the late 1970s. What better way to describe the loyalty than a big and great crowd who waited to hear the outstanding program.
In case you don’t remember, Kansas was a hit with songs like “Carry On My Wayward Son” and “Dust In The Wind.”
Four decades later these songs can still be heard emanating from jukebox speakers and car stereos all over the world, not to mention being covered by numerous artist over the years and regularly featured on soundtracks (“Carry On My Wayward Son” has played in every season finale of “Supernatural,” and who could forget Will Ferrel’s touching rendition of “Dust In The Wind” in “Old School”).
