K-County Music Fest Happening Until 6 P.M.
If you haven’t made it out to the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds yet, there is still plenty of time to enjoy the first K-County Music Fest. Music by local well-known acts will be playing until 6 p.m.
Bring a lawn chair, blanket or sit on the bleachers to enjoy a variety of music in such genre as rock, county/rock, alternative rock/ modern county, blues and more. The sun is shinning and it is a perfect afternoon to relax and listen to the talents of local acts.
The afternoon started off with Random Play playing numerous rock hits. Gunslinger will take the stage next, followed by Sum of 3, He Said, She Said with the day finishing out with Total Head Case. Each band will play for 40 minutes on the stage.
Food and beer will be available throughout the event.
There are a number of community-sponsored items available in the silent auction tent, with numerous items donated for drawings.
Bobbie Junker, fair board member, came up with the idea, to help the fair board work on projects to become ADA compliant. The upgrades could cost up to $4 million.
Admission is $6 at the gate.
Additionally, there will be a paintball zombie hunt down on the track, for a $5 fee you get 100 rounds to try your hand at hitting live moving targets while seated on a tram. Equipment will be available to rent for the hunt.
