Four new royals were crowned at the 2015 Winona Lake Cutie Contest, held at the Winona Lake Senior Center from 2-4 p.m., as part of the Winona Lake Fourth of July Celebration.

In the 5-6 year old category, Braydon Flannery of Mentone, son of Brooke Severn and Shawn Flannery, was named King Winona and Eleanor Barrett of Warsaw, daughter of Chris and Jen Barrett, was named Queen Winona.

In the 3-4 year old category, Dennis Friedberg of Winona Lake, son of Ben and Brooke Friedberg, was named Prince Winona, while Kyleigh Miller, daughter of Mike and Karis Miller, was named Princess Winona.

Emcee Ashton Warren of Warsaw asked each contestant a series of questions about age, siblings, favorite food, future careers. The talent portion of the contest saw most children singing the ABC song or reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

The contest was sponsored by the Winona Lake Parks Department.
