Student Showcase Benefits Local Organization
Class Act Dance Troupe will present an entirely student-choreographed showcase at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, in the Performing Arts Center at Warsaw Community High School, 1 Tiger Lane, Warsaw, to raise funds for the Community Closet. Admission is $5 or any greater donation. Tickets are available at the door before the performance, at Debra Collier’s School of Dance at (574) 267-7055 or at collierdance.com.
All net proceeds from this event will go to the Community Closet.
“Not only does this give the students an opportunity to grow as artists, work with their peers in a new way and put in the time and energy needed to create pieces they are proud of, but it is also a great way for them to realize how they can use dance to help their community,” CADT Showcase Coordinator Sarah Mills said.
