WARSAW – Waves for Water will host a one-mile swim race on July 25 at Center Lake.

The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. with sign-in and race day registration starting at 7 a.m.

Cost of the event is $30 per swimmer. Swimmers must be at least 11 years old and prepared to swim an open water endurance race. Persons can register at www.WavesForWater.net.

There is no cost for spectators to attend the race, but those who donate to Waves for Water will be entered to win door prizes.

Sponsors for the race are Giverny Fitness Studio, Wildman Business Group, Rabb Water, Owen’s Grocery store, Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department and the Center Lake Conservation Association.

Waves for Water is hosted by Ethan Cook, who is a WCHS senior swimmer. It is his community service project for the Kosciusko Youth Leadership Academy.
