Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

12:13 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, N 850 E near E. Kyle Road, Pierceton. Drivers: Scott F. Wise, 53, N 850 E, Pierceton, Samuel S. Stimmel, 66, Syracuse-Webster Road, North Webster. Wise attempted to turn right and stopped to back up. Stimmel attempted to go around Wise, who hit his vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.

10:08 p.m. Thursday, July 23, N. 600 E. near E. 125 S., Pierceton. Driver: Neil A. Likens, 29, Backwater Road, North Webster. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.

1:07 a.m. Friday, July 24, W. 700 S. near S.R. 15, Claypool. Driver: Kevin S. Brofford, 35, S.R. 19, Akron. Hit pole. Damage up to $25,000.

12:12 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2211 E. Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Leanna L. Brand, 43, N. 500 W., Warsaw, Jeremy R. High, 30, Lincoln St., Warsaw. Brand backed into High’s car. Damage up to $2,500.

12:10 p.m. Thursday, July 23, Mariners Drive near Husky Trail. Driver: Matthew T. Cannon, 25, Wheeling Pike, Jonesboro. Ran off road. Damage up to $5,000.
