TinCaps Pitch Sixth Shutout Of Season
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The TinCaps beat the Bowling Green Hot Rods, 2-0, Saturday night at Bowling Green Ballpark. Starter Thomas Dorminy and relievers Colby Blueberg and Yimmi Brasoban pitched Fort Wayne’s sixth shutout of the season.
Left fielder Franchy Cordero gave the TinCaps a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning with a sacrifice fly. Cordero drove in shortstop Ruddy Giron, who walked to lead the inning off and advanced to third on a pair of errors by his counterpart Cristian Toribio.
