Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

5:24 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, at the intersection of County Farm Road and West 1000S, Warsaw. Driver: Angela C. Hardesty, 34, North 200W, North Manchester. While attempting to avoid an animal that ran into her path, Hardesty swerved and hit a utility pole. She complained of pain at the scene and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital for further medical evaluation. Damage up to $10,000.

6:50 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, South SR 15 south of West 800S, Claypool. Driver: Benjamin A. Plummer, 18, West Hill Lake Road, Claypool. Plummer hit a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

1:35 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, Lake City Highway west of Springhill Road, Warsaw. Driver: Sean D. Strombeck, 30, East 650N, North Webster. Strombeck hit a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage up to $2,500.

6:42 p.m. Tuedsay, July 28, Eastlake Drive west of an unnamed access road. Drivers: Sarah A. Scheidt, 23, South Old Ditch Road, Warsaw and Sarah A. Love, 19, East US 30, Pierceton. Mistaking a two-way stop for a four-way, Scheidt proceeded into the intersection after stopping at a stop sign and was struck by Love’s oncoming vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage up to $5,000.

5:17 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 1801 E. Center St., Warsaw. Drivers: Gene H. Denz, 36, West 300S, Warsaw and Stephanie N. Wright, 20, West Primrose Court, Warsaw. Denz was backing his car out of a parking space and collided with Wright’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage up to $2,500.

2:48 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, at the intersection of North Grant Street and East Sheridan Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Austin P. Davidson, 16, North Fox Farm Road, Warsaw and Bradley E. Cripe, 43, Deerfield Path, Warsaw. Davidson was backing out of a driveway and did not see Cripe’s vehicle approaching a stop sign. Cripe attempted to swerve but the vehicles collided. No injuries were reported. Davidson was cited for driving while suspended. Damage up to $5,000.

11:32 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2495 Jaylynn St., Warsaw. Drivers: Dallas N. Morrison, 61, Walnut Creek Boulevard, Warsaw and Jennifer L. Buell, 29, West Sixth Street, Milford. Morrison’s vehicle collided with Buell’s vehicle while backing out of a parking stall. No injuries were reported. Damage up to $5,000.
