SYRACUSE —Mike Schmidt, principal at Wawasee High School, announced counseling services will be available for staff and students the first day of school Tuesday, Aug. 11.

Christopher David Prater, struck and killed by a train Thursday morning, would have been a senior at Wawasee High School this year.
