Marcella “Dottie” Cart, 88, of Goshen, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, at Hubbard Hill Estates.

She was born April 19, 1927, in Bourbon to Teddy and Goldie (Uplinger) Wilson. On Oct. 9, 1954, she married George Cart in Bourbon. He died Jan. 11, 2004.

She is survived by her son: Rodney (Debra) Cart; and grandsons: Kyle and Ryan Cart, all of Elkhart; two brothers: Wayne Wilson, St. Louis, Ms.; and Bob (Miriam) Wilson, South Bend; her much loved cat: Tiger; and longtime friends and caregivers: Merle and Betty Reynolds, Goshen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a step-brother: Forrest Lemler.

Friends may call one hour prior to the 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 11,  funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Chaplain Dave Severance will officiate.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elkhart County Humane Society, Hubbard Hill Angel Garden or a charity of the donor’s choice.
