Winifred ‘Gail’ Kerr
Winifred “Gail” Kerr, 56 of Pierceton, passed away at 5:55 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
On Dec. 5, 1958, she was born in Warsaw, to Albert and Joyce (Howe) Barber. She was united in marriage to Richard “Rick” Kerr on Aug. 17, 1995, in Pierceton, who survives.
A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Gail worked for Warsaw Coil, Othy and then Paragon Medical. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Pierceton. Gail enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and her dog “Molly” and also enjoyed painting, drawing and cross stitching.
Gail is survived by her husband: Richard “Rick” Kerr, Pierceton; four children: Misty (Andy) Snyder, Warsaw; Justin (Crystal) Kinsey, Pierceton; Shala (Scott) Bradley, South Whitley; and SHane (companion: Jessica) Kerr, Pierceton; seven grandchildren: Laicey and Lucas Snyder; Jozlyn and Charly Kinsey; Treyson; Trenden; and Avah Bradley; mother: Joyce Bowen, Columbia City; two sisters: Linda (Brian) Fuller, Warsaw; and Cindy Ross, Columbia City; and one brother: Bill (Jenny) Barber, Warsaw. Gail was preceded in death by her dad.
Visitation hours will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton.
A private graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton at a later date.
