Masquerade Ball Set For Aug. 29
LEESBURG — There is still time to send in reservations for the annual Cancer Care Fund of Kosciusko County’s annual gala event. This year it will be a masquerade ball starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29.
The event will be held at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club and guests are invited to dress up for the event by wearing elegant costumes and masks. While these will be admired, they are not required. But black tie is preferred for the evening.
Sum of 3 will be providing the entertainment for the evening. The band members include Jared Pagen, lead guitar and vocals; Dave “Bub” Harris, guitar and vocals; and Dave “Divo” Oliver, drums. The group is from Warsaw and plays “all that rocks.”
In addition to learning more about the Cancer Care Fund of Kosciusko County there will be opportunity to bid on numerous silent auction items and live auction items.
Some of the live auction items will include a Gatlinburg, Tenn., cottage for a week; Indianapolis Colts suite tickets for four including suite parking pass, food and drinks; all inclusive trip to Cancun at Hyatt Zilara Cancun Resort with round trip coach airfare for two; golf cart and a 2016 Bennington pontoon. These and more Items in the live auction will soon be available for viewing on the fund’s Facebook page.
A few of the silent auction items include: Family Portrait Session with Bob List Photography, Warsaw Cut Glass salad bowl with oil/vinegar cruet set, various gift cards and golf outings.
Reservations for the Masquerade Ball are due by Aug. 17. The cost is $125 per person and there is limited seating.
