Wilma M. Ritter, 73, of Akron, passed Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center of Fort Wayne.

He was born Nov. 20, 1941, in Warsaw, to Robert and June (Baker) Reed.

She was a polisher at Zimmer for over 25 years. She got her start in the earlier years at Hand Industries. Wilma was a graduate of Mentone High School. She was always giving of her time at the food pantry and at Our Father’s House both of Warsaw. She enjoyed reading, canning, gardening, and being a Grandma.

Survivors include her daughter: Virginia (Neal) Pettit, Claypool; son: Howard Ritter, Akron; grandsons: Dylan; Taylor; Shane; Travis; sisters: Sandra Snell, Warsaw; Karen Lewis, Burket; Allen (Judy) Lowry, Warsaw; Rick Lowry, Goshen; great-grandchildren: Karter; and Paysen. She was preceded in death by parents: Robert Reed; June Baker; brother: David Lowry; and sisters: Darlene Moore; and Patty Stambaugh.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, before the 2 p.m. memorial service at King Memorial Home, Mentone.
