Barbara J. “Bobbie” Leeth, age 76, of Warsaw, passed away at 3:55 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born June 23, 1939, in Terre Haute, to Richard L. and Gladys (Whitaker) Leeth. She was married to Jim Essman who preceded her in death Nov. 19, 2004. She was employed by American Airlines, retiring on Oct. 31, 2001. She attended Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, Warsaw.

Survivors include sister: Patricia (John) Bretza, Orange County, Calif.; Phyllis Wilkey, Warsaw; brother: Rochard M. (Suzette) Leeth, Philippines; nieces and nephews: John (Michelle) Bretza, Orange County, Calif.; Cindy (Tony) Elliott, Warsaw; Kristy (Diego) Escutia, Orange Co., Calif.; great-nieces: Brook; Chase Escutia; Zander; and Zach Bretza, Orange Co., Calif.; and Ryan and Jack Lowe, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by a sister: Nancy Shultz; and a niece: Kim Cretcher.

Visitation hours are scheduled from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, with a Memorial Service to follow at 6 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Pastor Steve Ailes will officiate. Interment will be made at sea.
