SOUTH BEND – The University of Notre Dame has announced the locations for pep rallies for the 2015 home football season.
The first rally for the Texas game is set for Sept. 4 outside of the Rockne Memorial Building on campus. Other home football rallies are Sept. 18 for the Georgia Tech game (in Purcell Pavilion), Sept. 25 for the Massachusetts game (in the Compton Family Ice Arena), Oct. 9 for Navy (Joyce Center Field House/North Dome), Oc. 16 for USC (Hesburgh Library Mall).
The location for the Nov. 13 rally for the Wake Forest game is to be determined.
All rallies begin at 6 p.m. and are free to attend. There are no tickets required to admission to any of the pep rallies.
The university also announced today that there will no longer be Friday Football Luncheons. There will still be access to Notre Dame Stadium on Fridays prior to home football games at the north tunnel from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. for fans to walk to field level and take photos. These opportunities will be available unless the visiting team schedules a Friday practice in the Stadium.
Notre Dame opens its 2015 season by hosting Texas on Sept. 5 at 7:30 p.m. The game will be televised by NBC.
