Nancy A. (Drake) Heminger of Timber Lane, Plymouth, died at 5:45 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, at her residence following a six-month illness.

Nancy was born on May 14, 1932, in Argos, to Claude Merle Drake and Mildred (Harrod) Drake and had lived most of her life in the Argos community.

On Aug. 30, 1952, in Argos, she married Charles William Heminger together they shared 46 years. Charles preceded her on Oct. 12, 1998.

Nancy and Charles owned and operated the Argos Lumber Company in Argos, from 1963 to 1996 when they retired.

Nancy had attended the Argos United Methodist Church, Argos, and was a member of the Argos American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 68, Argos. She was a graduate of Argos, High School with the class of 1950.

Nancy loved a good round of golf and adored her canine friend K.C.

She is survived by her son: Mark (Suzi) Heminger, Bremen; and Chris (Mary Ann) Heminger, Crystal River, Fla.

She is precede in death by her parents; stepmother: Rose Drake; and husband: Charles W. Heminger

here will be no Funeral Services per Nancy’s wishes and cremation will take place.
Memorial Contribution may be made to the Marshall County Humane Society, Plymouth.
