Bone City Looking Forward To This Weekend
WARSAW – It’s been over three months since the Rollers have battled in the Bone Yard. That will change this weekend. The Bone City Rollers will return home this Saturday, Aug. 29, to host the Killamazoo Derby Darlins.
The bout will take place at 5 p.m. at Hansen’s Eastlake Skate Center in Warsaw. Presale tickets are $6 or $8 at the door. Proceeds from the bout will go toward St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the charity to which Bone City will be working with for the home bout. The Rollers will also be present at Sunday’s St. Jude Day at the Lakes.
Bone City last competed at home May 9 in a physical matchup with the Kokomo City of Fists and were on the road most recently in late July at Gem City in Dayton, Ohio.
Bone City have three more scheduled bouts to wrap up the calendar year after this weekend. Sept. 26 will be the last home bout in hosting the Missfit Dolls at Eastlake. Oct. 17 will have the Rollers in Toledo to take on Glass City and Nov. 7 the Rollers will be in Lansing to battle the LCRD Mitten Mavens.
