Donna J. Yoder, 89, Rochester, passed away at 9:29 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, at Hickory Creek of Rochester.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1926, in Howard County, the daughter of John F. and Dorothy P. (Parker) Kuhn. On June 14, 1969, in Rochester, she married Eli Yoder. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2002.

Donna enjoyed being a homemaker. Over the years she worked outside the home at General Electric, various nursing homes and a dress shop. She attended Liberty Baptist Church. Donna was a lover of wildlife, enjoyed gardening, playing cards, enjoyed playing Nintendo and loved her Pekinese dog, Alfie.

Survivors include her children: Bridget (Tim) Schwenk, Rochester; Gary McGee, California; grandchildren: Timothy Michael (Kristy Schwenk Jr.), Brownsburg; Stephanie (Ryan) Whalen, Oswego, Ill.; Melissa Schwenk, Waltham, Mass.; great-grandson: Eli Schwenk, Brownsburg; sisters: Ruth Evelyn McLaughlin, Kalamazoo, Mich.; Ella Mae Young, Lapel; Rose Norman, Warsaw; brother: Jerry (Mary Ann) Kuhn, North Manchester; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Wilma Cleager; brothers: Frank Kuhn, Michael Kuhn, Terry Joe Kuhn and Larry Kuhn.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 24, and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Citizens Cemetery, Rochester. Memorial contributions can be made to the Fulton County Animal Adoption and Education Center, Rochester.
