UPDATE: Fire On Main Street In Claypool
CLAYPOOL — A Claypool couple is safe after an early Saturday morning fire caused damage to their home.
According to Claypool Fire Chief Bob Haines, the call went out around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22 that fire had broken out at the home of Daniel and Leanna Louvier, 301 S. Main St., Claypool. Firefighters from Claypool, Silver Lake and Warsaw Wayne fire departments responded.
Crews had the fire under control within about 20 minutes, though firefighters stayed on the scene until aroudn 4 a.m., Haines said. Though there were no injuries reported, damage is estimated at around $35,000.
