Grace Does Well On ‘Bang For Your Buck’ List

INDIANA — Three colleges in Indiana are among the top 50 on an annual national list for “contribution to the public good.” Washington Monthly‘s 2015 National Universities Rankings consider factors including social mobility, research and public service.
Grace College, Winona Lake, ranked high on a list of “Best Bang for Your Buck” schools.
The top schools overall in Indiana are Indiana State University, number 20; the University of Notre Dame, number 23; Purdue University, number 50; Indiana University, number 107; IUPUI, number 161; and Ball State University, number 221.
Indiana State University President Dan Bradley gives credit to the Center for Community Engagement for the school’s high public service scores. “Their efforts are helping to improve our community and better prepare our students for productive lives and careers.”
The publication also listed “Best Bang for Your Buck.” These schools are rated on net price, graduation rates and future earnings compared to loans. Organized regionally, Indiana placed 15 schools in the top 100 in the Midwest, including Huntington University, number 14; Bethel College, number 16; Hanover College, number 17; Indiana University, number 21; Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, number 37; Grace College and Theological Seminary, Winona Lake, number 40; the University of St. Francis, Fort Wayne, number 41; Marian University, number 45; Goshen College, number 48; Earlham College, number 51; Indiana State University, number 63; Purdue University, number 67; St. Josephs College, number 75; Franklin College, number 90; and the University of Indianapolis, number 93.
