Truck Carrying Up To 50 Dead Bodies Found In Austria
AUSTRIA — Up to 50 immigrants were found dead this morning, Aug. 27, in the back of a truck on a highway near Hungarian border. The truck has apparently been parked since Aug. 26.
The immigrants were being smuggled across Europe, but were apparently abandoned by the driver on the A4 highway.
Immigration has been a growing problem in Europe, and with this incident, it only grows worse. There are simply too many migrants from Africa fleeing to Europe, seeking better economic conditions. The incident will supposedly cause the expedition of border fences being built around Europe.
The Slovakian-based company, Hyza, who owned the truck reportedly sold around a dozen of their trucks in 2014, and has no knowledge of what might have happened with this particular one.
In response to the findings, German chancellor Angela Merkel said “we are of course all shaken by the appalling news. This reminds us that we must tackle quickly the issue of immigration and in a European spirit — that means in a spirit of solidarity — and to find solutions.”
