Bernard and Violet Weldy

NEW PARIS — Bernard and Violet (Hartman) Weldy, 70981 CR 15, New Paris, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple were married Sept. 3, 1965, at New Paris Missionary Church by David Wenger and Galen Johns.

They have three children: James Weldy, South Bend; Kami (Jason) Brenneman; and Jared (April) Weldy. They also have two grandchildren, Braedyn and Eva.

Bernard retired from Parker Hannifin (Goshen Rubber) and Violet is employed at IU Health Goshen Hospital. They are members of Union Grove Church, Nappanee.

The couple are taking a trip to Branson, Mo.
