SOUTH BEND — The Civil Rights Heritage Center and the Center for a Sustainable Future invite the community to, “A Celebration of Better Homes of South Bend: An American Story of Courage,” at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Wiekamp Auditorium, DW1001, IUSB.

This event will tell the story of how a group of Studebaker workers in the 1950’s won out over segregation.
