WARSAW — Each day, approximately 6,200 children around the world die because they do not have enough food to eat. The Warsaw community is doing something to change that.
Last year, more than 5,000 volunteers came together as a community to help pack 1,003,104 meals that were sent to Haiti, Uganda and Honduras and given to starving children. The Feed My Starving Children Mobilepack is coming back to town Oct. 14-17. Soon, you will have the opportunity to sign up your family, friends and neighbors to be part of this amazing event.
Right now, FMSC needs to raise the money to purchase the materials for the event. Each meal costs 22 cents. This Friday, Sept. 4, the Tiger football team takes on the Plymouth Pilgrims. During halftime, a bucket will go around for FMSC. All funds raised at the game will be matched by the Tiger football program, up to $4,000.
