GOSHEN — Ignition Music Garage and Goshen Brewing Company are joining forces for a day-long Oktoberfest celebration featuring an outdoor grill, beer garden and live music consisting of both local musicians and nationally touring artists. The event will be held Oct. 3.
“We are pleased to announce that Ignition favorite, Anne McCue, will be headlining the festival with her full touring band,” said Steve Martin, owner and founder of Ignition. Her latest album, Blue Sky Thinkin’, has received great reviews from No Depression, The Nashville Scene, Huffington Post and Elmore Magazine. McCue has performed once during Goshen First Fridays, and has sold out her last two shows at Ignition Music Garage.
Also featured on the bill is yet another up and coming act, The Go Rounds from Kalamazoo. The Go Rounds are a furious live act and progressive recording unit, fueled by the history of its diverse lineup and a collaborative spirit injected into everything from songwriting to arranging. Equally inspired by their record collections as the beauty of the great lakes state, the band explores soul music, baroque folk, art rock, country and classic rock n’ roll.
Plans call for a full day of live music starting at 1 p.m. Oct. 3, and will also feature Ref Fransen and the Vinyl Van spinning tunes between the shows.
The full lineup is as follows:
1-1:45 p.m. Jesse Stoltzfus and Friends
2:15-3 p.m. The Tumbleweed Jumpers
3:30-4:15 p.m. The Fury
4:45-5:45 p.m. The Boxers
6:15-7:45 p.m. The Go Rounds
8:15-10 p.m. Anne McCue
Oktoberfest 2015 will be held at Goshen Brewing Company, located at 315 W. Washington St., Goshen. Rain location will be at Ignition Music Garage, located at 120 E. Washington St., Goshen.
Admission is $15, and children under 10 are free. Tickets can be purchased from Goshen Brewing Company and Ignition Music Garage.
