Change Is One Thing That’s Constant
Change is the one thing in life that is constant in life. Each of us has change going on in our lives all the time. Some of them are minor and some are major. Some are good and some are bad. In keeping with the idea of change, I would like to share about a change for me.
For more than two years I have been writing a weekly article for Ink Free News. I have loved doing this. I love to help, serve and encourage people whatever their walk in life. The change for me personally is I will be putting this weekly article on the shelf at this time.
I am thankful for the opportunity to have shared some thoughts and ideas to possibly add something of value to you, the reader. Again, it has truly been a pleasure to be part of my community in such a fantastic way. I have appreciated the support and comments from you. You are the reason I wanted to do the article in the first place. I can’t say thank you enough.
I also want to say thank you to everyone at Ink Free News and The Papers. Everyone has been gracious, supportive and helpful over the past two-plus years. It has been a pleasure working with such wonderfully talented people. They were eager to bring you a weekly article to help you pursue your passions in your personal and professional life. Thank you, Ink Free News and The Papers.
In the future, we may bring back the “Passion, Purpose and Profit” article on a monthly basis. However, due to changes, it will be absent for now. As I finish the article today, I would like to bring back a theme I have written about before regarding change. Here is a quote from a mentor of mine, Dan Miller of 48 Days: “With every change comes equal seeds of opportunity.”
sEven if change seems bad or difficult, there are always seeds of great opportunity. If someone is let go from a job, it seems bad at first, but it may springboard them on to something fantastic. Also, what seems to be a minor change in life may lead to something great because of how we look at life from a different perspective.
The reason for the changes in my life and my family’s life are good. We look forward to what the future brings. As with most change, there will be things we will have to learn and do in the short term to bring long-term success.
I hope as you look at your future you embrace change when it comes, even if it seems negative or minor at first. Look past the short term and focus on the long term. Ask yourself, “How can this change make my personal and/or professional life better?”
I want to say thank you to you, the readers, again. I hope some of the information I have shared over the past two-plus years has put a smile on your face or made you look forward to the life you want and deserve for your family and your career. I hope in the future, the opportunity for us to reconnect comes to pass.
Do something today and everyday to passionately pursue your purpose.
