WCHS Band Place Second In Goshen Invitational

WARSAW — The Warsaw Community High School Marching Tigers’ Pride placed second in their class at the Goshen High School Crimson Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 12.
WCHS won the Caption Award for “Best Music” and placed second overall in class A – missing first place by 65/100ths of a point. Chesterton High School placed first and won the captions for visual and general effect. Elkhart Central High School and Elkhart Memorial High School were third and fourth, respectively.
The Tigers’ Pride will next compete Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Concord High School Invitational. Tickets to the Concord contest are available for $6 in the WCHS Music Office. Fifty percent of the proceeds from tickets sold by WCHS will go towards the Warsaw Band program.
