Janet L. Waltenberger 74, Macy, passed away at 5:10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, Ill.

She was born on Oct. 19, 1940, in Logansport, the daughter of Weldon and Frances (Boone) Anderson. On June 1, 1983, in Tennessee, she married Alan Waltenberger and he survives.

Mrs. Waltenberger, along with her husband, owned and operated A and J Appliances in Rochester for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and tending to her flowers.

Survivors include her husband: Alan Waltenberger, Macy; children: Jeff McKinley, Kokomo; Jim (Debbie) McKinley, Kokomo; Joanna Brock, Kokomo; Jill (Paul) Elliott, Lafayette; Steve Waltenberger, Warsaw; grandchildren: Jordan McKinley; Mason McKinley; Rachel McKinley; Logan Brock; Sarah Kiddy; Alex Elliott; great-grandchildren: Naomi McKinley; Collin McKinley; Theodore McKinley; Maddux McKinley; brothers: Dick Anderson, Walton; Doug (Mary) Anderson, Walton; Tom (Rosemary) Anderson, Chicago; David (Glenna) Anderson, Peru; sister-in-law: Dianna Anderson, Lucerne. She was preceded in death by her parents: Weldon Anderson in 1969, mother: Frances Crim, 2001; and brother: Don Anderson in 2009.

A Memorial service will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Galveston Community Center, Galveston. Friends may visit from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Community Center in Galveston.
