Quick-thinking Teens Save Dog After Hit-And-Run
WARSAW — Dallasen Fulk and her boyfriend, Ethan Hancock, both 15, of Warsaw, were in the right place at the right time last Friday, Sept. 18, when they saw a truck run over a dog and keep going.
Thinking quickly, Fulk ran into the road to stop traffic while Hancock moved the injured dog to safety. Despite the pouring rain, Fulk, Hancock and Fulk’s mom, Vondee Wood, sat with the dog, keeping it dry until police arrived to help.
According to Fulk, the boxer had a broken back leg and hips. Further details are forthcoming.
