The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
12:40 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, CR 600W, south of West CR 1300N, Nappanee. Driver: Monica A. Burnett, 24, South Nappanee Street, Nappanee. Burnett lost control of her vehicle on the gravel road, went off the road, hitting a mailbox. Damage up to $5,000.
3:56 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, East Center Street and South Lindberg Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ryan M. Moore, 29, East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw, and Brian T. Fielder, 50, Bradenton Road, Fort Wayne. Moore’s vehicle struck the back of the Fielder vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
12:34 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, North SR 15 and West CR 600N, Leesburg. Drivers: David L. Platt, 62, East Leith Street, Fort Wayne, and Krissa M. Keaffaber, 20, CR 133, Syracuse. Platt’s vehicle struck the back of the Keaffaber vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
4:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, North CR 900E, south of East Old Road 30, Pierceton. Kimberly S. Brennaman, 50, East Adams Road, Pierceton. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
8:48 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, East Armstrong Road, east of North Old SR 15, Leesburg. Drivers: Aaron W. Lindsey, 34, West Crystal Flash Road, North Webster, and Kyle R. Denton, 23, North Main Street, Milford. Lindsey’s vehicle struck the back of a trailer being pulled by a vehicle driven by Denton. Damage up to $2,500.
7:43 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, Husky Trail and East CR 200N, Warsaw. Drivers: Buryl D. Swope, 81, South CR 400W, Warsaw, and Angela M. Gross, 67, Whitetail Run Warsaw. Gross was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital in a private vehicle after experiencing chest pain from air bag deployment. Swope’s vehicle struck the Gross vehicle as Gross was turning onto CR 200N from Husky Trail. Damage up to $25,000.
6:43 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, South SR 13, north of East CR 850S, Sidney. Driver: Timothy S. Woodward, 48, North CR 175E, North Manchester. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
