Driver, Passenger Injured In CR 450N Accident
WARSAW — A driver, who dozed off while driving, was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital, while a 17-year-old passenger was released to her parent, following a one-vehicle accident Sunday. The accident was at 10:09 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, on North CR 450E, west of North Third Place, Warsaw.
Dawn M. Campbell, 38, Poplar Street, Huntington, complained of pain to the neck and was transported to KCH by North Webster EMS. A back seat passenger, Stephanie R. Lindley, 17, North Sullivan Road, Leesburg, complained of pain to the back, but was released to a parent. A front seat passenger, Adam Lindley, 20, West McKeever St., Andrews, was not injured.
Campbell told police she dozed off causing her 2010 Dodge to go off the north side of the roadway, hit an REMC utility pole and irrigation guard.
Damage was estimated up to $25,000. The irrigation post is owned by Steven L. Frecker, East CR 450N, Leesburg.
North Webster Fire, North Webster EMS and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded.
